CBD and Muscle Growth?

A human body does not naturally grow new muscle tissue unless it is forced to. The challenging task of growing and improving your physique is something that can take a lifetime. Anabolic hormones in the body cause growth. Catabolic hormones in the body cause muscle break down. In order to reverse muscle break down, anti-catabolic nutrients are needed to help the process of muscle retention and added strength.

CBD has been proven to lower the number of catabolic hormones released in the human body such as cortisol, adrenaline, glucagon, and estrogen in men. With lowered catabolic hormones, the body will not be able to break down muscle tissue as quickly. This allows for an increase in his or her muscle mass.

It is highly recommend that CBD should not be used with other stimulants such as caffeine. Caffeine increases cortisol (fat storing stress hormone) levels in the body. Raw CBD upon waking on an empty stomach is best for absorption.

Can CBD also help with fat loss? Absolutely. CBD has been shown to help regulate a persons blood glucose levels and lower insulin sensitivity. This means less fat will be stored, and burned off as energy. CBD is a win/win. Greater change of muscle building to increase metabolic rate, as well as lower insulin sensitivity to decrease fat.

There is numerous anti-inflammatory benefits that go along with CBD. Inflamed liver, kidneys, and bloating is all symptoms that many Americans are dealing with day to day. A nourished endocannabinoid system can combat all of those issues.

With sleep benefits, hormone control, and anti-cancer benefits, this is a nutrient that must be in your diet. A healthier, better functioning body will save your mind, body, and health in the long run.
